What would happen if you knew how to move your body better? What would having the confidence of knowing your own strength mean to you? What if you had a base knowledge of movement that helped you to feel more confident when learning new skills or attending a class?

Bodyweight Strength

In this day and age, we spend a lot of time separated from our bodies. We often sit down for long periods of time, drive our cars in traffic, and live our lives with our minds on many other important things that do not include our bodies.  We lose track of how our bodies feel, what our muscles feel like when they are contracted, what we feel like when we are tight, loose, or where we have pain.  Then we try to get back to exercise we haven’t done in a while, without this mind body connection we have an increased likelihood of injury or burnout.

What if we could use our bodyweight to learn about movement, to remind our bodies all the ways it can move, and to remind ourselves all the joy we can feel from moving.  Let’s go back to basics and ensure we have the stability and quality in all of our movement.

You will learn and improve form for a squats, lunges, push ups, pull ups, handstands, and other bodyweight movements.  Every week we will increase the difficulty as we build from the ground up to ensure you understand and can feel what is happening during these movements and how to execute them to get the most out of them.

Not only did I lose weight and increase muscle by working with Chelsea, but she helped me understand my motivation and the mental challenges that get in the way of me reaching my fitness goals.  Chelsea has a holistic, intuitive style focused on body awareness, technique and really listening to what is going on with her clients. I love Chelsea’s laid-back style and I look forward to working even more her.
