Q: When is the Club Opening?
Tennis Center: Monday, January 11 at 8am
Main Club: Tuesday, January 12 at 5am
Q: Do I have to wear a mask to workout?
Short Answer: YES
Long Answer: Masks are required at all times when working out following the WA state and WA Health Department Requirements for reopening. Swimmers in the pool are the only exceptions to this.
Members taking Group Fitness Classes must wear a mask at all times.
Q: Do I need to reserve a workout time?
Short Answer: Yes. Download the app here.
Long Answer: Members need to make a reservation for a time slot under one of the following tiles: Group Exercise, Tennis Courts, MUV Training, Pickleball Reservation, Reserve a swim lane, or Club Booking. Club Booking includes all other areas not listed above (Weight room, cardio decks, racquetball courts, basketball court). The only members that do not need to reserve a time on the app are personal training clients, if you are meeting with a trainer you will schedule with your trainer and they will ensure that there is enough room in the building at that time.
Members must keep their workouts to 45 minutes. Reservation times are one hour long to allow for a 15 transitional period.
We will be tracking the number of members in the Club by having members scan in and scan out at the Front Desk. All members must enter and exit through the front door.
These are requirements set forth by the state of WA and we are following them. Once we are able to move into the next phase, some of these procedures may be lifted.
Q: Do I need to make a reservation to use the cardio room or weight room?
Short answer: YES
Long answer: Open the app, navigate to the club booking tile, click on calendar, scroll through the schedule and select a time, click “Book a spot”, read through the disclaimer and select “I agree” and click “Continue”.
If your reservation is confirmed, a confirmation screen will appear and an option to add your appointment to your phone’s calendar will populate.
The reservation window for appointments is 48 hours in advance. If you try to book outside the reservation window you will receive an error message and will not see the confirmation screen.
To verify your appointment, navigate to your barcode tile by clicking the home button at the bottom left hand corner of your screen and then clicking on the barcode tile. You will see all your reservations listed under your barcode.
To cancel a reservation, go back to the “Club Booking” tile and cancel the same way you signed up.
Q: Is the Pool Open?
Short answer: YES
Long answer: Reservations are REQUIRED for swim lanes. You must sign up for a lane using our mobile App. Download instructions here.
Q: Where can I find the Group Fitness Schedule?
Short answer: The HSAC Mobile App.
Long answer: There will be a January schedule posted to the website shortly. For the most up to date class schedule and class times please check out mobile app. All classes require registration through the app or by calling the HSAC front desk. The front desk will be open for reservations starting Tuesday, January 12.
Q: Is there a limit on workouts?
Short answer: YES
Long answer: Members are only allowed one club booking per day. The club booking time limit is one hour to allow for a 45 minutes workout time and 15 minute transition.
Q: How do I sign up for classes or swim lanes?

Q: How will you track how many people are in the club?
Short answer: Reservations must be made to enter and members must check in and out at the front desk
Long answer: The amount of people allowed in the club per the state of WA requirements has been determined, and that is the amount of reservations we will have available every hour. We will never risk being over capacity because of the reservation system. In addition to checking in at the Front Desk, members must also CHECK OUT. Our software tracks the number of members in the club at any given time. The back door exit is currently closed in order to help us facilitate better contact tracing.
There will be occupancy signs at each room that members must comply with.
Q: What happens if I can’t or don’t know how to use the app to make a reservation?
We will gladly help you get the app set up on your phone! You can call or email us for assistance. We will be open on Tuesday to take reservations by phone. The quickest and easiest way to ensure you will be able to get a reservation time will be the mobile app.
Q: How are you enforcing the state mandated member distancing requirements?
We have spaced out equipment, given a building capacity to comply with the requirements set forth by the state, given each room and area occupancy limits to comply with state requirements. We are relying on you, our community of members, to comply with social distancing and the room occupancy signs we have put up. Our members will need to work together so that we can remain open. We have implemented the reservation system for this to ensure we can comply with the allotted occupancy numbers.
Q: When do my membership dues start?
Short answer: February 1
Long answer: All members will have access to the Club for free in January. Dues will resume February 1.
