Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

All staff will be wearing face coverings. Members are required to wear a face mask in order to enter the Club and must wear it at all times while around the facility. You can take it off immediately before working out and put it back on immediately after resuming working out vigorously. It must worn when walking around the building at all times to comply with WA state mandate.

Cleaning + Sanitization Protocols

As an addition to our already robust cleaning processes, we have added strategic zone cleanings several times per day along with our new housekeeping and maintenance teams who will be working throughout the day to keep high-touch points sanitized.

Hand sanitizing stations and equipment wipes, exceeding CDC and EPA guidelines for effectiveness against viruses including COVID-19, will be available throughout the facility. Members will also be given their own personal spray disinfectant bottle and microfiber towel to take with them throughout their time at the club to clean with.

All members are required to wipe equipment down after use. Please spray the towel first and then wipe the equipment down to preserve the equipment.

Cleaning Products

HSAC employs EPA registered and Green Seal Certified commercial disinfectants in its daily sanitization of our facility. These products are effective against viruses including COVID-19.. We also have installed RemeHALO and AirPHX air purification systems to ensure optimum air sanitation and a quicker kill time of all bacteria including COVID-19 in the air. Watch this video for more info.

We will also be fogging the Club at the beginning of every day as well as periodically throughout the day with a PROTEXUS sprayer that kills 99.9% of all germs and bacteria on all surfaces.

Distancing

Guidance markers have been placed throughout the Club and equipment has been spaced out or marked unavailable to make sure you are keeping a safe social distance from others during your workout.

We will be limiting the occupancy to 25% capacity in the Main Club and the Tennis Center. Each room will have an Occupancy sign out front of it to designate how many members are allowed in at any given time. Members must not enter the room if already at capacity. Several steps will be taken to encourage 6’ of separation per CDC guidelines. Members and our teams will be asked to respect floor markings and any other visual cues that facilitate distancing. Team members will be enforcing room occupancies at least every hour.

Safety Protocols

ALL members and team members are required to check in at the Front Desk. For the full details on the Member Journey click here.

Please Note: the back door will not be available for entering or exiting the building.

ALL members and team members will be required to answer our health screening questions before each visit to confirm they are not experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, nor have they come into contact with someone who is experiencing symptoms. If someone answers YES to any of the questions they will be asked to leave immediately.

Our team members AND members will have their temperature taken when entering the building. Per CDC guidelines, individuals with a body temperature greater than 100.4° will not be permitted to enter the facility.

In the event there is a confirmed case of COVID-19 in our facility, we will work with public health officials in their efforts to contact trace those who may have been exposed. Members are requested to contact HSAC Management if they test positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of their last facility visit. We will alert membership as appropriate and take extra measures for cleaning and sanitizing.
