Long-term weight loss is nearly impossible when you skip meals and eat erratically. Try eating every couple of hours to keep your energy up and blood sugar stabilized to balance out hormones and prevent overeating.
- Out of sight, out of mind: What foods do you tend to crave? Make a list and then keep them out of your house and grocery cart. You’ll be far less likely to eat them if they aren’t in sight. With a bit of practice, you’ll be more capable of breaking your bond with these foods.
- Go to bed earlier: It’s easy to de-stress in front of the television at night with snacks that destroy your waistline. Instead of sitting and eating, head for bed! You’ll not only lose weight if you go to bed earlier, you’ll also feel more rested and ready to tackle the next day.
- Find a team: An easy tip to help you lose weight is to not do this alone. Find a group of supportive friends or like-minded individuals who share your goals.
