Alex has a passion for athletic and weight loss training. He was raised playing sports his whole life and has been strength training since a young age. He pursued a career in personal training in order to help build up others and to develop a healthy foundation for themselves in order to give them the same confidence that a healthy lifestyle has given him. He wants to help anyone he can no matter what their goals because he believes the easiest way to reach your goals and overcome your barriers is with a little extra support.
He also graduated in 2020 with a B.A. in theatre, and he works in the film industry as well. If you like the arts, feel free to come up to him and strike up a conversation with him about it or anything else.

I am Sarah Bierlink (known as Sarah B. around HSAC), I graduated from Whitworth University with degrees in Psychology; and Health, Fitness, and PE. After school, I became a certified Health and Fitness Specialist through ACSM. Starting out, I worked one-on-one with clients of all ages and stages of fitness. During this time, I worked my way into helping run personal training studios. I took a brief hiatus to have my sweet kids and now I’m back in the swing of it.
At Harbor Square I have the pleasure of teaching: MUV, cycle, yoga, pilates, private kick-boxing and various strength classes When not in the gym you can find me at the tennis center working on my tennis game, downhill skiing, hiking, cheering on my kids at any of their activities or hanging out at a local beach.
I strive to empower each individual at Harbor Square with the tools necessary to perform everyday tasks with ease and safety. Can’t wait to see you around the club!

I was born and raised in Augusta, Maine and moved to Washington in 1992. I have always been active as I have 5 brothers I had to keep up with.
Fitness has always been a passion and I have been involved for over 30 years. My passion led me to having many Personal Trainers to help me in my fitness journey and this inspired me to becoming a Certified Personal Trainer in 2009. It also inspired me to compete in and win a bodybuilding competition in 2012.
I enjoy working with all ages, any fitness level—from the beginner to those that have been working out for years and want to learn something new or just be pushed a little bit harder. My focus when working with a client is core strength, balance, stability and flexibility. I do this by using one’s body weight and free weights.
Having battled cancer and won, I know the challenges one faces and how important it is to keep up with a fitness routine during such a battle. I am here to help you and motivate you through it.
My other passions are my faith, family (dogs), reading, snowboarding, swimming and traveling.
